ABsolutely becomes CH&Co Group’s specialist education caterers following recent merger deal.ABsolutely merges with CH&Co

We are very excited to announce that we have merged with leading independent caterer and Royal Warrant holder, CH&Co Group, becoming the group’s specialist education arm.   Kate Martin and Sue Parfett will continue in their roles as Managing Partners.

The deal comes together against a backdrop of an increasingly competitive industry and is the perfect answer for us to continue providing a strong offer to our clients and further enhance opportunities for our employees.  CH&Co Group currently only has a few schools in its portfolio and so the merger will see us become the Group’s specialist education caterer.

Managing Partner, Kate Martin said, “We began talking to Tim Jones, CH&Co Group’s Chairman, late last year.  As we talked, it became clear that our two organisations would be a great fit because CH&Co Group wanted to expand further in the education sector.  We would also have greater resources between us to constantly develop and enhance our client service and of course, we both share a similar ethos of food, people and clients.”

CH&Co’s Group CEO, Bill Toner said, “This merger between CH&Co Group and ABsolutely enables both companies to combine their assets and talent. We are so much stronger together and will have the financial strength to compete in the education sector even more vigorously.  ABsolutely will operate separately as our education specialists. Like the companies within our Group, ABsolutely are established caterers focused on providing excellent food and service with a reputation for looking after clients, customers and employees; we have a lot of common ground to build on.”
